Computational Model and Analysis of Adaptive Traffic Lights
Terbr, Filip ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the topic of adaptive intersections and the study of their influence on the flow of traffic and others. The work contains an analysis of currently used traffic detectors, an analysis of the main problems of classic intersections and the possibilities of their solution, followed by the design of the model, a description of the implementation and testing of the created model. The resulting model is created in the UPPAAL SMC software and is a system of timed automata communicating with each other. Testing is performed by comparing the results of tests of classical traffic lights with the results of adaptive traffic lights.
Vehicle Classification Using Radar
Gottwald, Vilém ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
Cílem této práce je rozpoznávání vozidel z radarových mračen bodů. Radar poskytuje informace o vzdálenosti a úhlu každého detekovaného cíle.
Administrative transgressions against the safety and smooth traffic flow on highways
Sárová, Lenka ; Prášková, Helena (advisor) ; Kopecký, Martin (referee)
The presented thesis refers to the administrative transgressions against the safety and smooth traffic flow on highways. This is very actual topic currently, because everybody meets with these administrative transgressions in his life. The thesis is composed of seven chapters. The first chapter introduce us with the history of legislation in the period from the formation of the Czechoslovak republic in 1918 to the presence. The following chapter describes relevant legislation. This chapter contains general regulation of liability for transgressions, as well as discusses the constituent elements of transgressions and ends with characteristic of the constituent elements defined by the Law of highway traffic. In the third chapter, I focused on the comparison of transgressions and crimes. First I compared the general arrangement for liability for crimes and transgressions. Furthermore, I have listed which crimes could be committed in connection with the highway traffic, and then I looked on, in my opinion, mostly committed crimes. The fourth chapter deals with the sanctions that may be imposed for transgressions. The rules on penalties are prescribed by Law of transgressions; the specific amount of sanctions is set by the Law of highway traffic. The administrative transgressions against the safety and smooth...

Proceedings for administrative transgressions against the safety and smooth highway traffic (with a special regard to acts carried out before trial and the first-instance proceedings)
Neuvirt, Tomáš ; Prášková, Helena (advisor) ; Vopálka, Vladimír (referee)
The topic of this thesis is "Proceedings for administrative transgressions against the safety and smooth highway traffic". Although there is no such special type of proceedings, it is an issue which deserves an attention. Every one of us is a part of highway traffic every day. Therefore it is important not only to know the rules by of it but also the rules and principles of the proceedings in which are transgressions against safety and smooth highway traffic heard. The aim of this thesis is to provide the complex summary of the proceedings for administrative transgressions against the safety and smooth highway traffic and to give notice of its unusualness from the basic proceedings for administrative transgressions. This thesis also points out the inaccuracies, wrongness and ambiguities of the proceedings' rules and also reflects and comments the latest amendments to relevant acts. The thesis is divided into nine chapters, from which the first and the last ones are introduction and conclusion. The second chapter clarifies the term administrative transgressions. The third chapter briefly describes the administrative transgressions against the safety and smooth of highway traffic and the interests safeguarded by them. The fourth chapter gives the overall summary of the administrative proceedings. The...
Přežiješ mládí? - Analysis of TV programme for youth
Voslář, Václav ; Jirků, Jan (advisor) ; Kocourková, Lucie (referee)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is an analysis of a TV show 'Přežiješ mládí?'. The main tool to achieve this goal is semiotic analysis, as a method suitable for analysing any audiovisual content. The show is educational and is primarily aimed at young people between approximately 18 and 24 years of age. Aside from semiotic analysis the thesis provides a brief summary of various facts about the effects of media on society, its influence on young people, focusing on the influence of television, and educational potential of media, specifically considering young generation. The TV show 'Přežiješ mládí?' is dealing with road traffic accidents and with common failures of young people in traffic. One part of the thesis therefore also examines the attitude of the young to road traffic safety and the possibilities of improving this attitude. After this theoretical part, a methodological framework follows, that introduces characteristics of semiotic analysis and point out its specific aspects and features used for the analysis in this case. The third part of the thesis is the analysis itself.
Evaluation of landscape permeability and migration potential - A Case Study on the motorway D10
Novák, Libor ; Keken, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Kušta, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis deals with the influence of technical barriers to accidents with wild animals. On the highway D10 during the years 2006-2014 a total of 598 accidents with animals happened. Six categories of barriers were determine: 1) no barrier, 2) metal guardrails, 3) concrete dividers, 4) reinforced metal guardrails, 5) noise barrier wall, 6) fence, which had been given spatial location during the field survey. The paper also addressed the impact of urbanized areas and created the density of accidents per 1 km of the highway. The results show that there was no evidence for an effect of technical barriers (p = 0.73164). An analysis of accidents density implies some hotspots where there is > 19 accidents / km.
CAUSES ANALYSIS AND COLLISION PREVENTION OF WILD LIFE WITH MOTOR VEHICLES IN TEPLICE DISTRICT
Zajíček, Lukáš ; Vach, Marek (advisor) ; Najnarová, Eva (referee)
My bachelor is thesis deals with the analysis of causes and preventiv of collisions of motor vehicles with a wild game in district Teplice. The primary aim is analyse and evaluace statistical data of collision of motor vehicles with a wild game in period since 2010 till 2014. For the analysis were used statistical data of the Police of the Czech Republic during the reporting period since 2010 till 2014. These data were analysed and then was determined the total number of collisions of motor vehicles with a wild game and specific types of knocked down wild game and the total material damage the created during these situations. In my thesis is evaluation of the most risk sections of rous in district Teplice and solutions of preventive measures, that would prevent or decrease collisions of motor vehicles with a wild game.
